About Lala’s Kitchen

Our Beginning

Lala’s Kitchen was born from humble beginnings in Punta, Santa Ana, Manila—where cooking wasn’t just a skill, it was a way of life.

Learning to Cook

Aries learned to cook at just eight years old—not in a modern kitchen, but outdoors—building fire by hand and preparing meals without the convenience of a stove. Food was simple, resources were limited, but the flavors were bold, vibrant, and unforgettable.

Family Roots

Raised by generations of family—her grandmother, great-grandmother, mother, and father—Aries was taught that cooking is an act of love, resilience, and tradition. Each of them helped shape her understanding of food, passing down techniques, flavors, and values that live on in every dish she creates.

Market Life

Daily trips to the local market were part of life. Without refrigeration, meals were made fresh each day—guided by what was available. Those moments—filled with color, aroma, and energy—instilled a deep appreciation for fresh ingredients and intentional cooking.

Our Mission

At Lala’s Kitchen, every dish is a tribute to the hands that taught her—honoring family, culture, and the rich traditions of Filipino cuisine.

Because Filipino food isn’t just a meal—
it’s a flavor bomb, a celebration, a party in every bite.
